What we store

For funeral homes: account email, business details, branding, and billing status. For memorials: the life story, photographs, signing-book entries, and — only if the funeral home records it — one family contact email used for a single anniversary note. For visitors: nothing beyond standard server logs; no non-essential cookies, no analytics trackers on family-facing pages.

Who owns what

Photographs and words belong to the families who contributed them. Funeral homes steward them; we store and display them, nothing more. We never use memorial content for advertising, model training, or any purpose beyond showing the page the family was promised.

Deletion

Any family member may request removal of their contribution — or an entire memorial — by writing to support@inlome.com or to the funeral home. Deletion requests are honoured completely within 30 days. Funeral homes can hide any contribution instantly from their dashboard.

Processors we rely on

Supabase (database and photo storage, encrypted at rest) · Stripe (payments — card details never touch our servers) · Vercel (hosting) · Shotstack (tribute video rendering) · Anthropic (turning interview answers into draft prose during memorial creation; content is not used to train models) · Resend (email delivery). Each processes data only to provide its function.

Your rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and portability — write to support@inlome.com. We respond within 30 days. You may complain to the ICO or your local supervisory authority.
